Heartworks originated with a group of women in Bernardsville, New Jersey, mostly moms, who get together once a month for food, wine and good intentions. It is similar to a book club but instead of reading we do random acts of kindness. The group's purpose is to open ourselves to the radical abundance that occurs when we give to each other as well as practicing being present and conscious in our own lives.
There are five other Heartworks groups that have joined us in the movement to make life more meaningful through the power of prayer, giving and receiving! There are presently groups in Long Valley and Basking Ridge, New Jersey; Barrington, Rhode Island; and Manchester, Vermont. There is also a Heartworks Kids in Florida.

The mission of Heartworks is to create opportunities for women to gather for their own spiritual and emotional growth and to generate acts of kindness in the community and throughout the world. We believe that through giving to others we open ourselves to more fulfilling lives, deeper relationships and the feeling of God in our hearts.
